Dr Hetal Patel
GDC No. 113658
Hetal Patel is our Principal Dentist. She graduated in Birmingham Dental School in 2007. She has now worked as a general dentist for 7 years in a busy family dental practice gaining a comprehensive knowledge of all areas in dentistry.
She aims to provide a high standard of dental care in a relaxed, friendly and efficient atmosphere, keeping in touch with current techniques through regular continuing development courses. She is a member of the British Dental Association.
Hetal practices minimal intervention dentistry and considers it important to discuss all treatment options with her patients so that they are in a position to make informed choices.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her career has been the care of nervous and anxious patients. She finds this aspect of dentistry personally fulfilling and strongly believe that everyone should have access to pain-free dentistry.
In her spare time Hetal enjoys cooking, traveling and meditation as she feels it is important to have a healthy mind in a healthy body.
Dr. Manish Gudka

Dr. Manish Gudka qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London. He currently works in private clinics in London and Milton Keynes.
Manish has a calm and caring approach towards his delivery of dental care. Patients often tell him stories of how dentistry was, and how it has changed. He hopes to depict everything a modern day dentist should be to his patients. He listens to what his patients have to say, advises honestly and openly about the options available and then delivers high quality treatments in a relaxed environment.
After graduating, Manish soon completed a year-long course in Aesthetic Dentistry, at King’s College London. With this advanced training in aesthetic dentistry, he is able to use evidence-based, minimally invasive techniques to provide his cosmetic treatment. He is often able to bring about changes to people’s smiles with less treatment than they often think they need.
Manish has a keen interest in delivering cosmetic orthodontic treatments and is an accredited provider of a range of orthodontic treatments including Smile Tru Clear Braces, Six Month Smiles and C Fast Braces. If you have ever wished your teeth were straight, why not contact him for a chat about what you could do.
As Manish is a firm believer in continuing to learn, he is currently undertaking an implant course at a prestigious Harley Street Clinic and is confident that soon he will be able to offer this treatment in house to all his patients.
Away from the dental clinic, Manish loves travelling, always plotting his next trip, is a football-holic (though he wishes not to disclose who he supports) and enjoys watching the latest movies.
Dr. Rosida Dowlut

Rosida is a dental graduate of the University of Manchester, UK and qualified in 2003. She is dedicated to providing the friendliest and highest level of care to all of her patients in a relaxed environment.
Her main interests lie in preventive dentistry, minimally invasive restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. Being committed to continually enhance her knowledge and skills, she regularly attends different types of postgraduate courses to provide the most up to date care possible.
She has completed a year long certificate course in aesthetic dentistry at the St Anne’s Dental institute in 2008 and an implant course in 2013 and is a certified Inman aligner and Invisalign (clear removable braces) provider.
Currently, she is undertaking a two year long postgraduate course in advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry. To complement her dentistry, she also provides anti wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers to suitable patients.
Rosida loves travelling when time permits and experience different types of foods and cultures, loves ice skating and cycling. She is also an avid movie watcher and can be seen mostly every Friday night in cinemas!
Dr. Viren Patel

Viren Graduated from The University of Birmingham in 2013 and has since worked in a family friendly dental practice with growing popularity from his patients. His caring and analytic approach to patient care is indicative of the modern and progressive outlook in dentistry, which is why his main focus is on prevention and patient education.
His motto is “To achieve the best patient outcome in the most minimally invasive way possible”
Viren appreciates the importance of keeping his skills current for the benefit of his patients and thus attends numerous courses in order to expand and advance his clinical skills. He also successfully passed postgraduate examinations through the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh and obtained a Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery through the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Since his time as a dental student, Viren has enjoyed the surgical aspect of dentistry. To pursue this surgical path he is currently undertaking a Dental Implant Course at Harley Street, London, which is accredited by Stony Brook University in New York, USA. He is optimistic to start offering this treatment soon to his patients.
Cosmetics is integrated into every aspect of dentistry and Viren has taken a keen interest in cosmetic tooth straightening. He is now an accredited provider of a range of cosmetic orthodontic treatments including C-Fast braces and SmileTru clear aligners.
Viren is a huge sports fan and particularly enjoys playing cricket and football, and watching watching Formula 1 and NFL. He enjoys gaming on his Playstation 4 in his spare time which shows there is still a little boy hidden within him. That is if he is not travelling across the world.
Dr. Jeremy WoodcockBDS, MGDS RCS Eng, MGDS RCS Ed, FFGDP(UK), Dip Implant Dent RCS Eng, Dip ClinHyp
Prosthodontics, Specialist Endodontist

Jeremy is the Clinical Director of Dental Excellence. He qualified in 1980 and spent his first five years as a dental officer in the Royal Air Force. On leaving the RAF he joined a mixed practice in South Bucks. During this time Jeremy studied for two highly advanced postgraduate examinations in dentistry and was the youngest person in the country to pass these exams. He was awarded the Diploma of Member in General Dental Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1988.
Further continued study ensued and Jeremy developed his special interest in root canal treatment such that he opened a referral practice in North London limited to root canal treatments. Jeremy is one of only a handful of dentists to be recognised as a specialist endodontist from within general practice.
Jeremy continued to study for advanced postgraduate qualifications and has added a Fellowship and Diploma in Implant Dentistry to his name – both from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Jeremy is the author of several papers in refereed scientific journals and has written chapters in dental textbooks. He is also a recognised expert witness for the General Dental Council and regularly advises the Council at disciplinary hearings.
Jeremy was formerly an MGDS examiner at the Royal College of Surgeons but since the demise of this exam he is now an examiner for the Implant Diploma of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Narinder, our friendly Specialist Periodontist, graduated from St. Bartholomew’s & The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London in 2007.
She was awarded the Harold Fink Prize for outstanding academic achievement and was awarded 2nd Prize by the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners FGDP (UK) for her elective studies which was published in The London Hospital Dental Journal and Bart’s & The London Chronicle.
After qualifying in 2007 and working extensively in general practice, she then went on to successfully complete her MJDF Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009.
In 2014 Narinder completed her 3-year postgraduate training in Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology and Implants at The Royal London Hospital and gained her Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015.
Narinder also received an award from the British Society of Periodontology (BSP) and has presented some of her work at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) and the British Society of Restorative Dentistry (BSRD).
As part of her training Narinder was also involved in supervising undergraduate students at the Royal London Hospital. She is also a visiting lecturer at Eastman CPD and was also the Specialist Training Committee (STC) Representative for Periodontology. She is a member of the International Team of Implantology (ITI) and the British Society of Periodontology (BSP).
Narinder’s clinical interests include all aspects of non- surgical, surgical and implant dentistry. She is based in several private practices and will happily accept referrals for all gum related problems and implant assessments. Her interests include the treatment of peri-implant diseases. She aims to progress her career not only in practice but also in the hospital academic route.
Dr. Shashi MishraBDS, MSc Endodontics, MFDS RCS, FHEA, MRD RCS Specialist Endodontist

Shashi qualified with BDS from the University of Glasgow in 1997 and after general practice, dental hospital and oral and maxillo-facial surgery appointments in and around Manchester, he joined the Army where he served for over 11 years in the Royal Army Dental Corps. In his time in the Army he was posted throughout the UK and deployed to Bosnia in 2001, Iraq in 2003 and Afghanistan in 2009.
He completed his Masters in endodontics in 2004 from the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London and Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons from the Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2005. On completing his training, Shashi was responsible for the endodontic referral service for the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force along with the teaching of endodontics to Dental Officers of all levels of experience, both serving and civilian. His responsibilities also included advising on endodontic equipment and materials available to British armed forces dentists.
With a broad background in restorative dentistry validated with a Membership in Restorative Dentistry fromthe Royal College of Surgeons, England and accustomed to working closely with his referrers, Shashi has a passion for delivering the very best for his patients. Shashi’s interest in the clinical aspects of both non-surgical and surgical endodontics is enhanced with a keen enthusiasm for teaching and education, a role he sees as paramount to improving the overall quality of endodontics being provided nationally. He has presented widely and delivered hands-on courses nationally and overseas and relishes the opportunity for more from undergraduate-level and Vocational Dental Practitioners to experienced general and specialist practitioners of all disciplines.
A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Shashi’s commitment to lifelong learning extends to improving both himself and those around him.
With his focus centred around the biological aspects of endodontics to produce the greatest benefit for the patient, Shashi always strives for the highest possible standards using the very best techniques. He is always approachable and happy to assist both the patient and referrer as much as he can.
Dr. Jesal Pankhania

Jesal Pankhania is a very caring and approachable dentist whos view on dentistry is very patient-centred. He makes a great effort to help patients understand their choices to make an informed decision for what treatment is best for them.
His hollistic methodology means many anxious patient’s minds are put at ease and with a main focus on prevention for better long term outcomes.
Jesal Pankhania is an award winning dentist having won the award for “Best Young Dentist” at The Annual Dentistry Awards in 2014. The judges were a panel of esteemed dental peers and based their judgement on the unique and bespoke way he delivered his treatment plans to his patients.
Jesal qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2004 and very soon after found his niche in mentoring and was the youngest dentist to be appointed as a Foundation Dentist Trainer by The West Midlands deanary. They currently include him on a unique list of dentists that are set to teach, coach and mentor dentists from abroad and those leaving university to help them get up to speed to achieve the competency and skills required to work as a confident dentist in the UK.
Jesal completed his Diploma in Restorative Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons London in 2012 and is completing his Masters degree currently.
Jesal was trained & mentored one to one in Implant Dentistry by Consultants & Professors at Sheffield University for two years and has been placing implants since 2010. Jesal is therefore up to date with all the latest evidence based research, implant systems, techniques and materials.

Dr. Oana Alexandra Omer

Oana graduated from the University Carol Davila- Dental School , Bucharest, Romania in 2010.
After graduation she started right away her 3 years postgraduate training in Orthodontics and Dental- Orthopaedics in Bucharest. She had the opportunity to treat a large range of malocclusions in children and adults and work closely with dental surgeons and implantologists. She was especially involved in treating children with cleft-palate deficiency and preparing cases for pre-surgical orthodontics.
Starting the beginning of 2014 she is a Specialist Orthodontist working in several private practices. She is certificated in Incognito, Invisalign and loves working with all kind of braces: metallic, ceramic, sapphire.
Oana is passionate about Orthodontics and stays in touch with all new techniques in order to deliver the best treatment solutions to her patients. She is a friendly and understanding person who is always around for her patients and referrals.
Shilpa PatelDental Hygienist

Shilpa is our dental hygienist- qualifying from Birmingham dental hospital in 1994 at the top of her class and awarded the dental directors award for best community hygienist.
Working in many differing dental environments in the past 21 years from NHS to community hospital work and corporate private has provided Shilpa the experience and knowledge to enhance her patient care. She loves the challenge of helping a new patient from the start of their journey in the treatment and prevention of gum disease to helping keep them motivated during the maintenance phase. Shilpa has a very caring friendly attitude to the treatment of all her patients and will adapt all treatment to ensure you are comfortable at all times. She continues to attend local and national post graduate training to provide up to date knowledge and treatment.
In her time out of work Shilpa is a qualified yoga teacher – teaching at her own school of yoga and at a local studio. She enjoys spending time with her family and two teenage children by cycling on our many red routes of Milton Keynes.

Previous to this I gained a degree in Biomedical Materials Science from the University of Birmingham.

Gemma started her dental nursing career back in 2002 and found her passion for dentistry and patient care. After 2 years of study, she became a qualified dental nurse in 2007. Thereafter she continued to extend her knowledge and capabilities through the years and obtained her dental nursing radiography certificate in 2009 through Keele University.
Gemma has extensive knowledge and understanding of complex dental treatment needs and also has a special interest in nursing for implantology and oral surgery. In her 14 years of dental nursing she has had the pleasure of working in many different environments including a dental sedation clinic as implant coordinator and head of recovery for 5 years. In this time she has gained a lot of experience with patient management of the anxious patient, children and vulnerable adults.
She still thrives to learn and is continually looking to expand her knowledge and competence skill set with extended duties courses including impression taking, fluoride application, disease prevention and suture removal to deliver the best possible service possible to our patients. Gemma is a loving mother to two beautiful children and her favourite past time is dub smash!
Gemma is also our treatment co-ordinator. Patients now have the privilege to come and meet Gemma over coffee to discuss treatment options or for further clarification in our newly refurbished consultation room at no extra cost. She is happy to go through all the treatment options and to explain the treatment procedures and the associated costs and finance options available to enable patients to make the correct choice best suited for them.

Lisa is a highly experienced dental nurse and has been nursing for over 20 years. Her passion lies in attention to detail ensuring that the treatment goes as smooth as possible for the dentist and the patient.
She has worked for a number of years as an orthodontic nurse. She has vast knowledge about dental treatments and is always happy to talk to patients to make them feel at ease.
She is a loving mum to her 17 month baby boy and is also currently expecting her second baby boy.

Meera started her dentistry training in 2013 and became fully qualified within 2 years as a dental nurse. With mostly working at NHS practices’ around the South of England, Meera gained a vast amount of experience from various environments which has really helped her to progress her career to new heights. With this experience Meera has found her calling and increased passion for learning further within radiography, oral hygiene and implants; she feels this is the area she wants to dedicate her career to and be able to master the science behind each element.
As an individual who is very close to her family and spends much time with them, Meera has been able to transfer those traits to her patients and has a very gentle and caring attitude to each person, ensuring they receive the best possible experience from their visit. She goes out of her way to make sure her patients are looked after well and they get treated to the highest standard.

Vera is a qualified dental nurse who gained her qualification in 2015 and has over 3 years of experience. Vera has worked both in private and NHS practices and has experience in assisting during Implant procedures and surgical treatments.
Vera always ensures that patients have a great experience at each appointment by creating a friendly, calm and reassuring atmosphere in and out of the surgery.
Vera enjoys singing in her the church choir, reading and swimming in her spare time.
Jan MawbyDental Receptionist
Jan is our very welcoming dental receptionist. She takes great joy in helping our patients on their dental journey making it stress free and relaxing. She has been a dental receptionist for 13 years and absolutely loves her job as she loves interacting with patients.
Her hobbies include gardening, reading historical novels, walking her 2 dogs, an Old English Sheep dog and a small Jack Russel. She also has 2 cats and a tortoise who is about nearly 90yrs old. To complete the family she has a husband of 34 years and is a loving mum to her daughter. And she does make the best cup of tea!
Mitesh DesaiNon Clinical Director and Practice Manager
Mitesh is our Non Clinical director and practice manager. He graduated from Aston University in 2005 studying Managerial & Administrative Studies and thereafter worked as an Accounts Assistant in an established Chartered Accounts Practice in London.
Mitesh’s passion lies in providing the best possible service for our patients and ensuring that the patient journey is as smooth as possible. Mitesh is also very keen on providing the best quality treatment at Aspects Dental and believes in modern dental technology. He also has great attention to detail and ensures protocols are followed consistently. He believes greatly in teamwork and feels that as a team nothing is unconquerable.
In his spare time Mitesh enjoys playing golf and is obsessed with watching sports be it football, cricket or golf!
