We’re extremely proud of our Endodontist, Dr. Anand Mistry, here at Aspects Dental in Milton Keynes. Last month Anand travelled to Chitrakoot in India as part of the Sewa UK Charity to provide dental works in the dental department of the local hospital.

Dr. Anand Mistry Explains More About His Trip To India For The Sewa UK Charity…
“I went to Chitrakoot (Madhya Pradesh), which is one of the poorest regions of India, as part of a Sewa UK charity trip. I spent two weeks working in the dental department of Chitrakoot hospital, providing endodontic treatments to the local patients. I provided some endodontic training in the form of tutorials, seminars, clinical supervision and hands-on training for the local dentists.
I also participated in a mobile dental clinic, which aimed to provide dental treatment for people in the remotest parts of rural India. I met some amazing people, made friends and learned a new language, Hindi, as well as seeing things that I wouldn’t commonly see in a UK dental practice setting. Overall, it was a very rewarding and enjoyable experience and I can’t wait to go back again.”
