Patient presented with a broken tooth. Unfortunately the tooth was unsalvageable. The tooth was extracted and a dental implant was placed and restored with a crown. Patient was happy with the result and could happily smile again.
Case 2
Our Dental Patient presented herself with retained roots on her upper jaw. She was very nervous and self-conscious of her smile. After 12 weeks of extracting the retained roots, an Dental Implant was placed and 12 weeks later a cantilever Dental Bridge was fitted. Case 5
Patient presented with a vertical root fracture on upper left molar. Tooth was extracted and the bone was left to heal for 12 weeks. A CBCT Scan concluded a good amount of bone for a dental implant. The dental implant was placed and 12 weeks after it was restored with a screw retained crown.
Case 9
Patient presented herself with all teeth either infected or decayed. Unfortunately most of the teeth were unsalvageable.
A full mouth clearance was done by extracting all the teeth and patient was provided with upper and lower full acrylic dentures. We allowed 3 months of healing to occur before a CBCT Scan was taken to determine if dental implants could be placed.
Patient opted to go ahead with implant retained dentures and 4 implants were placed in the upper jaw and 3 implants were placed in the lower jaw. We successfully restored her smile.
Case 8
Patient presented himself with retained roots and a vertical fractured tooth on the upper left quadrant which required extraction for both teeth. He had some existing missing spaces on the right hand side.
Once the teeth were removed a CBCT scan was taken to check for bone height, width and density. Unfortunately the patient didn’t have enough bone and require an open lateral window sinus lift surgery.
The sinus lift were carried out on both sides and left to settle down for 6 months before placing dental implants.
Once the implants were placed, patient had to wait a further 3 months to ensure the implants had imbedded in the bone before proceeding with the restorations.
A longer journey but the results were well worth the wait.
